After many months of eager anticipation, the Olympic committee has approved a top secret design I did for Nike, exclusive to the U.S. Olympic men's and women's snowboarding teams.
I am very proud of how this project turned out, but more importantly, I am honored and extremely appreciative that Nike asked me to do the design. I am still in disbelief that my work is representing the United States and might be seen across the world. Here is the final product, as modeled by my mom (who is not an official member of the US Olympic team...yet.)
And here are a couple of the stages the shirt went through in development: Each member of the teams will be given a shirt to wear throughout the events, and I hope to catch a glimpse of one somewhere from my living room tv.My favorite part of the design- it comes complete with a piece from my very own backyard- the majestic Mt. Hood (photo by our pal, and person who actually snowboards, Fred).
A very, very special thanks to my good friend Quentin for approaching me for this project!
And without further ado - LET'S GO USA!!!
