Dear Portland people (the rest of you can eavesdrop),
Tonight there is an opening at the Grass Hut for the Sesquatennial show - their curatorial ode to 150 years of Oregon as a United State. You should be there!
Ryan is included among some of our favorite artistic statesmen and women. Check out this roster: Carson Ellis, Betsy Walton, Ryan Jacob Smith, Emily Counts, Theo Ellsworth, Yellena James and Scrappers. See? I mean, it's a no brainer.
Here is a sneaky peak at one of Ryan's pieces, entitled "The Grey Ghost":
As an added bonus, one of our favorite local boutique and galleries, Redux, is having their own big shindig next door. Wasn't one of your resolutions to be more productive with your time? Well, now you can get two things done at once. Badda-bing.
The John McLoughlin piece is phenomenal! I might have started hyperventilating when I saw it--just maybe...

It was fun seeing you guys at the show, and it was fun finally going to get donuts too.
I'm glad that Ryan's work was so well-received, because it is awesome.
